SakuScript is a CMS and visual web design platform provided at sakuscript.com by 株式会社 Byleno ("Byleno", "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we handle when you use SakuScript, why we handle it, and the choices you have.

We handle personal information in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan (APPI) and other applicable laws.

• Account information. Your email address, name, and password (stored in hashed form) when you create an account, and your workspace and profile settings.
• Content you create. Pages, designs, structured content, and media files you upload while building sites on SakuScript.
• Billing information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor (Stripe) handles your card details. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Usage and log data. Technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected when you use the service, to keep it secure and reliable.

We use the information described above for the following purposes:

• Providing, operating, and maintaining SakuScript and the sites you publish
• Authenticating you and protecting your account
• Processing payments and managing subscriptions
• Responding to inquiries and providing customer support
• Detecting, preventing, and investigating fraud or abuse
• Improving the service and developing new features
• Sending important notices about the service, such as changes to terms

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we rely on to operate SakuScript, and only to the extent necessary. These providers are located outside Japan, so sharing your information with them involves a cross-border transfer of personal data:

When personal information is transferred to a third party in a foreign country, we take the measures required under the APPI, including providing information about that country's personal data protection system on request. We may also disclose information where required by law, such as in response to a valid legal request.

SakuScript uses cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and to remember preferences such as your display language. These are necessary for the service to work. We do not use them to show you advertising.

We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account or content, we delete or anonymize the associated personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to keep it for legal, accounting, or security reasons.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against loss, unauthorized access, and disclosure — including encrypted connections, access controls, and optional two-factor authentication for your account. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a strong, unique password.

You may request disclosure, correction, suspension of use, or deletion of your personal information as provided under the APPI. You can update most account information directly from your settings, and you can contact us at the address below for anything else. We will respond after verifying your identity.

We may update this policy as the service or applicable laws change. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the service or by email. The latest version is always available on this page.
